Studio Philosophy
I am looking to create a warm, positive and enriching environment for each and every student to flourish in. Individual lessons are private, quiet and distraction-free. Group lessons are open, encouraging and fun. I strive for students to cultivate their own creativity, and encourage them to find their own niche in the world of music.
Technique, artistry and musical enjoyment are at the heart of my teaching. I believe that making music is an athletic activity, as well as a mindful and spirited extension on oneself. I see each student as a separate and unique challenge.
We, as a violin studio, will respect, support and encourage one another. We will approach all performances and auditions in a professional, inviting and well-prepared-for manner. The studio will constantly grow and expand in its knowledge, membership, diversity, warmth, character and musical quality.
